    SA Display

I've posted this shirt before, but here is the finished display. The Franken shirt is a VERY long, tuck in style, and has heavy staining near the bottom, like motor oil or grease. It's too long to display easily, and the stains ruin the appearance. Therefore, the shadow-box approach. I've had this shirt over 20 years, and finally it's displayed like it deserves. The dagger is a matching "Fr" marked dagger. I added the WWI Iron Cross. Yes, I've seen several early photos with SA personnel wearing it this way. I also added the wound badge. It's held on with medal loops. Anyone interested in knowing how to make them and have them look original, PM me and I'll be glad to help. The Motor-SA lives again !!!

Thanks !! The background is blue velvet, and the dagger is wedged in place with a block of styrofoam at the top, covered in blue velvet.

It's an original, nice and place-saving way to show your collection things. Lovely!

                        SA Shirt

Thank you all VERY much for the compliments. I was quite lucky with the Franken shirt. A dealer at a gun show liked daggers, so he I traded him an NSKK dagger with a repainted scabbard for it, and then at the same show, I found the matching Franken dagger for $50. Dagger is by Leuco. Can you even imagine what those rallys must have looked like, with the sea of beautiful SA colors ???!!!
