Eagle Badge ID Help Please

I have this eagle badge with two back prongs. It is 2 1/4 inch wide. I would like to know if it is a genuine item or repro and what it would be used for.

Back side with no marking I can see. It is not magnetic.

Original "State" cap eagle, could be used on Reichspost cap or other State organisations.

Look on the back underneath where the ends of the pins cross - you might find an RZM mark.

Pascal has it right - its a generic eagle used for various civil state organizations.

If it's RZM marked it could also be a "Reichsnährstand" cap eagle.

Thanks for the thumbs up. I do not see any mark using a magnifier in that area. Do these have any value?
