    Another Obscure NSDAP Organization Visor

I probably should post this in the headgear forum, but they sometimes (alright, most of the time) fail to appreciate political/civil headgear.
Although not as obscure as the RKB visor I posted earlier, I have only seen the visor for this organization twice in my collecting career:

Yes, it is for the "Reichslotterie Der NSDAP"--the NS State Lottery organisation. This is the distinctive hat-badge:

It is a standard DAF Fest cap--the only difference being the badge and the chincords:

I would assume that, like the RKB, the org. was too small to merit the expense of designing a visor of their own, so the DAF cap was the most expedient:

I would also assume that the Reichslotterie officials who wore these wore them with civilian suits. Close up of buttons/chincord (this cap never had a leather chinstrap):

Standard DAF interior--this guy must have had a big head--I would estimate a size 62:

Here is something you don't see everyday on TR caps--gold leaf initials. (Most TR headgear either have perforated initials or metal ones):

Unfortunately, there are no references on this particular NSDAP organisation as far as uniforms are concerned. You will find many items related to the lotterie itself, especially tickets. The hat badges pop up rarely, and all the ones I have seen seem to all have been made by the same maker on the same die (they are all stamped with 2 prongs).

This is a visor that was recently up on an auction site--the badge is correct, but I believe the visor to be postwar. In addition, it sports a Landeskokarde, which I believe would be incorrect for a Reichs-level organisation, but who knows. I post it here for reference only:

So, if anyone has any pix of any of these hats in wear, or anything related to the RL (be it tickets or whatever!) please post them here!:

Another fascinating cap! And in outstanding condition, of course. Thanks for sharing that!

This Proves Without A Doubt That Everyone In The 3rd Reich Wore Some Form Of Uniform. What A Great Obscure Cap. All These Years Of Collecting And You Post Two Hats I Have Never Seen In Two Weeks. I Am Impressed.
