SA chain stitching quality

These tabs are on sale on an auction site thou shall not mention, the stitching looks frayed or just very poor, do these look right?

Some of the early period tabs are hand done and some are executed better or worse than others, but I would pass on this set.

Are the pips gilted? If the tabs are fake, the faker certainly know his business....
Standarte73 was a part of Gr.Ns, gilted pips. I'm not so sure.....

Thanks all, they were pulled off German Ebay anyway, so ill never know, anyone got a spare Musicians lyra out there?

Good call, Laurens! I didn't look up the Standarte, but you're right. Despite their appearance, it's unlikely that the combination of unit/group/color/pips was an accident. Thanks! I wonder why they were pulled--I don't see any offending symbols, or would it have been the description?
