Deutsche Technische Hochschule Prag Stempel/ stamp – Amazing !

    Dear Friends,

I am a collector of german various and Feldpostnummer Stempel / stamps and I just want to show you here this amazing one !

A few informations about its Rektor (sources : Wikipedia)

Alfred Buntru (15 January 1887 – 23 January 1974) was a German academic and member of the Nazi Party. Born in Sankt Blasien in the Waldshut district of the Grand Duchy of Baden, he was educated at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Buntru later became a professor of hydraulic engineering and a deputy Reichsdozentenführer (English: "Reich lecturer leader"). He joined the Nazi Party in 1937 and the Schutzstaffel (SS) in 1938, attaining the SS rank of Oberführer. As part of his SS membership, he was involved in the Spitzeldienste, the network of political informants set up by the Nazi Party's intelligence organization, the Sicherheitsdienst (SD).[1] Buntru survived the Second World War, and died in Aachen in 1974 at the age of 87.

        It's a Prägesiegel [embossing seal].

Most official seals as used in everyday administrative work come in the form of seal stamps. Embossing seals are used for particularly significant documents, wax seals only for the most important and formal ones.

Ink and wax seals - a few more...

            Dear friends,

Thanks a lot for your nice and interesting comments.

A few more Stempels : Feldpostnummer, Organisation Todt, various ones...

The most important for me is the :

            Dienstelle Feldpostnummer 63250 b L.g.p.a. (Luftgaupostampt) Paris

            (8.9.1943-22.4.1944) 21.3.1944 Stab I u. Einheit
            Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 5,

            (23.4.1944-24.11.1944) 17.11.1944 Stab I u. Einheit

            Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 7,

            (25.11.1944-8.5.1945) 26.1.1945 Stab III u. Einheit
            Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 7.

Found in a stove (!) in August 1944 (DINAN / Côtes d'Armor). The house next to my grandparents' one was occupied by Luftwaffe officers. My father used it as a hammer for years.

Thanks for your visits and comments.

                C,
What an incredible group! All focused on Stempels - the Fallschirm are surely the most rare - but they are all historically important!

Thank you for sharing, fantastic collection! Museum items!
