German police long service medal - stamped fake

Some time ago there were medals in sales that were labeled as "copies". They are made a stamp with a good study of details. But, they differ from the original in some details. One of the details is the quality of the finish coating, which is more resistant to mechanical damage than on the original medals and has a slightly different look.

From time to time I meet sales of medals, marked as "originals", but some of them have common features of these stamped copies...

Has anyone come across this? Maybe there were threads with discussions on the forum? I could not find.
