    Thank you very much Konstantin,

Very good points and observations! I like the way you worded #4. The signature is not very "graceful"

Your comment did help me and I am very grateful. I wish you and your family a great Christmas season!

    Thank you,
    Scott

      Hi Scott,

Excuse the late reply, the Christmaswine had me forget about the reply i made in this topic .

The cross is original, only dirty. I've handled hundreds (if not thousands) of motherscrosses and this one is good. The white enamel in the centre is just dirty and has probably seen better days. The inscription on the reverse, as well as the floating swastika are also of no concern, many makers result in many different smaller features. Than the blue parts, contrary what soem people want others to believe there are many differnt underlaying patterns in the blue enamel to be found, some looking like a "grid-pattern", others more like a "desert-sand-surface" (don't know how to express myself better in english). Differences in the blue pattern even differ on several of THE SAME makers and this is nothing to worry about (it also makes it in my humble opinion impossible to determine what maker used what kind of patterns).

To sum it up: this cross is NOT mint, but also not bad. The only thing that is not good is it's full value, whereas a mint cross would do 50-60, it say this one is about 30 euro.

      best regards,
      Gaston

Gaston, thanks for the answer. I am very glad that my fears concerning this cross have appeared are groundless.
For myself I will know also such variant of the manufacturer.
        Yours faithfully Konstantin.
