One more and now I have to go eat my dinner. I forgot what this one is.

OOps. 1939/1940 Chevrolet in Belgium. I think it is a Red Cross vehicle.

Well, dinner is over so what else can we look at?

This is I believe a 1939 Chrysler sedan impressed in Belgium.

Perhaps one more for today. Not a really good photo, but very unusual.

Here we have two photos of Chevrolet vehicles of the period 1938/1939 taken over by the Hungarian armed forces. To be honest, I am not sure if they were used as taxis or as some sort of goods delivery vehicles. In my opinion, not military vehicles. Interesting photos in any case.

Well, it is still too early to go to bed so I will try another.

This would appear to be a French Ford (Matford) sedan which was taken over by the German forces on the island of Jersey, between England and France.

I have lost the link, but there is quite an interesting bit of history concerning that island. Not a pretty story, unfortunately.

                  Probably Holland indeed.
(There is a difference between Belgian and Dutch bikes )

Bill, do you know anything more about #91 (unit, place where it is taken? Could very well be the area where I live)

                    Morning Tim:
Sorry, I don't remember the location of the photo. I got it off the Ceges Soma site some time ago. If you have not visited there, you should. It is at www.cegesoma.be I think or close to that. It takes a lot of looking and especially for me as I do not read Dutch and have to pick through a lot of stuff at random. You should have an easier time of it.

Here is another one a police vehicle I think in Russia
                    Cheers

                      Hello Bill,

Another unknown car. Can you identify it for me.

                        Morning Larrister:

Nice photo of a HanomagTyp 4/20 Kubel in Reichswehr service. Also used as telephone/cable laying vehicles.
                        Cheers

Here's another. Sorry, it is a Wanderer and I assume a W23 as quite a lot of them were impressed. This one in Holland.

You are welcome, but I screwed it up. When I looked at the photo on my big screen monitor I realized it was the Fernsprechkraftwagen version after all, not the kubel. Note the small attaching gear on the front mudguard and just in front of the rear mudguard. Also the kubel was a 4 seater. Just wanted to set things right.
                              Cheers

Here is another. A nice German Ford V8 51 impressed in Germany and converted into an umbau-wagen.
