So, is it an often case that collectors searching for the items lost in their group to complete their groups??? And how to do so? or just keep the partial group?

And what about the originality of this group?

All document collectors try to complete/reunite groups, but it is very difficult because you don't know if all documents survived the war, but keep your eyes open and ask other collectors to do the same, most important is cooperation. I have been lucky some times and found pieces from some of my groups, sometimes citations, other times just photos.... who knows.

I like the documents.

it is slim chance to reunite, but good luck, who knows.

In the past I have been lucky reuniting some groups, but mainly for highly decorated soldiers or family purchase, but who knows, let open all channels and we will see.
