      The Feldpostnummer is OK:

      Feldpostnummer 13899
      (Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) Stab m. Nachrichten-Zug Flak-Regiment 36,
      (2.1.1940-27.4.1940) Regimentsstab Flak-Regiment 36,
      (15.9.1940-31.1.1941) Regimentsstab Flak-Regiment 201,
      (1.8.1943-23.3.1944) 28.2.1944 Regimentsstab Flak-Regiment 201 (mot.),
      (24.3.1944-6.11.1944) 4.4.1944 Flak-Regimentsstab 201 (mot.).

        Hello,

The document does look pretty convincing and the signature appears to be that of Oberst Wilhelm Herzberg. I am puzzled, though, by the eagle ink stamp. The Feldpostnummer L13899 was used by Regimentsstab Flak-Regiment 201, but the Luftwaffe type flying eagle with the micro swastika is very weird IMO. I have never seen this type of a stamp on any Luftwaffe award document before. I am under the impression that all branches of the Wehrmacht used the straight-wing eagle.

Another issue I see is that Oberst Herzberg was not the Regimental Commander of Flak-Rgt. 201 until 5. June 1943 yet the document is dated 1. April 1943. Perhaps it is back-dated?

        Best regards,
        Tom
