Here to show the last doc i own in my collection. I will show because i never posted it before,and because i need an advice about eventual value,because i may trade or sell it (not sure).
The particolarity of this simple doc is both the recipient and the sign on it.
Ostmedaille document for KC Holder Herbert Rieckhoff when he was an Oberst and Chief of The General Staff of Air-Fleet 1 (13 October 1941 to 23 February 1943). Awarded the KC on 5 July 1941 and the DKiG on 17 August 1942.
The document is signed by Generaloberst Alfred Keller, appointed Commander of Luftflotte 1 and Air Force Commander-East on 19 August 1940. He was awarded the KC on 24 June 1940 as General Kommandierender of the IV Fliergerkorps, then promoted to Generaloberst on 19 July 1940.
This man received also the Pour le Merite (and very few obtained both PLM and KC ! ),and was an ace during WW1 ,flying on Paris .
The sign is handmade,not a print. Original seller told me that was obtained directly from a publisher sale. I don't know if was used in a publication or not.
