Youre right Bob, it is a II . I was able to blow it up in a larger scan and I believe it says 33 not S3. I thought S3 rifleman didnt seem correct at all, so Im glad you made me look closer. I dunno, but panzer regiment 33 is "Prinz Eugen" (not the SS one), but part of the 9th panzer Division, as you most likely know. Its weird because I have 2 Panzermann portraits from Pz Reg 33 coming in the mail, all bought within the same week from 2 different sources. I will post em when they come in.
But the strap either says 33 or 38...but even under an eye loupe it looks like a 33. I dunno?? Anyway thanks for your time Bob, much appreciated.

It does not appear to be the "schiffchen". seems to be a heer One-piece colder weather suit. I have seen this in photos many times. It almost looks like the mechanics or vehicle personnel uniform. Ill have to look around for the correct name of the dress

sorry, just came back to this and realized I wrote Schiffchen. haha dont know why I wrote that, I was thinking of the Panzerkombi, which doesnt look anything like it.
Im still going to look around for the correct name for the uniform. Im think it would be worn over the wrap as well? So my best guess would be that it is a Panzer coverall, usually seen when working on there tanks/etc. You can see that in the first photo, they are wearing them as well.

I never counted. At least several from various quality and size. It is my field of collection, so never enough..Around 415 members were in this unit, I still have a long way to find all of them
