Evening gents,
These photos were previously posted on this forum by member Eugeniu. I'm interested in which Waffenfarbe this guy is wearing in the photo, since I own an example of the round badge he is wearing on his uniform pocket (Traditionsabzeichen der Gespensterbrigade Angern - Schützen-Regiment 110 & 111).
These badges were given to soldiers of the 11. Schützen-Brigade, which contained the Schützen-Regimenter 110 and 111. This was probably between 1939 and 1940. Later this unit was part of the 11. Panzer Divison. Here is some more info on the unit: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=121768
So, to what kind of Wehrmacht branch did this guy belong? It certainly is a lighter color Waffenfarbe: Infanterie (white), Panzer (pink), Aufklärer/Observers (golden yellow)?

Cheers,
Fleck
