Wehrpasses on estand with Feldpost stamps

Is it odd to have field post stamps like on post #5, where they are on his ranks and death entry?

Would they have done this on the way to returning the pass to the family? For some reason, I have in my mind that his unit stamp would have been used, not field post stamps, so this stands out to me.

The units were not supposed to use field post stamps in the Wehrpass because the Wehrmeldeamt, Wehrbezirkkommando, didn't always have access to the field post number lists. That being said, it was still done very often.
