    Promotion Document

Hi, I am well out of my comfort zone with paper items, I have seen this which I think may be a promotion document.
I would appreciate any thoughts on what it is and if it stands a chance as being original. These are the only photos I have for the moment.
    Many thanks - Greg

The document looks fine to me, and the endorsement by Göring on the lower right-hand corner is an original signature. Not sure whether Hitler was still hand-signing promotion docs at this time, with the war having just begun, but there should be an embossed Seal of State on the doc's lower left-hand area. The Hitler signature may be printed.

              Very nice piece! Cheers,

If you look closely, the seal is visible.

As mentioned, a very nice example. I do like these type of citations as it is a good way of obtaining the signatures of the 'inner circle' and such like. The Hitler signature is the facsimile version but the Goering signature in indeed hand signed. Just don't pay over the odds for it as Goering's signature is relatively common.

Thanks, Hank...these old eyes of mine aren't what they used to be!
