          Werknummer

          Hello gwatte,

Your He 111 Z-1 “Zwilling” appears to carry the Stammkennzeichen DG+DZ. If so, it would be Werknummer 2705.

              Clarification?

              Sir,

I was trying to indicate that, if the four letters of its Stammkennzeichen (four-letter factory radio code; arrayed two on each side of its fuselage Balkenkreuz, i.e. DG+DZ) are indeed correct, its Luftwaffe RLM identification number would be 2705.

Is that as clear as mud?
