Hi all!
This is one of the latest additions to my collection. A photo of Robert Ley, Romanian King Carol II and other officials on June 22, 1939, during the opening of the "Work and Labour" ("Muncă și Voe Bună") exhibition in Bucharest.
Photos of the event, taken by Heinrich Hoffmann in the German pavilion are well known, but this one was taken by a Romanian photographer in the Greek pavilion, the main subject of which were the activities of the National Youth Organization (EON), as seen on the background. Four flags of the organization, with their characteristic double axe flag pole tops can be seen on the right. An EON official can be seen standing behind Carol II.
I would be really glad if any other personalities could be recognized!
