I recently acquired a nice collection of photos belonging to one u-boat sailor. Unfortunately there is only one with writing and nothing else to help identify him or the boat he was on. Any help would be appreciated.

I thik on the back are written the Latin names of some plants, so as Radix Althea
or Althea officinalis:

other Latin names of plants, so typica gladulifera and glandulifera liquritiae as far as I can read
the botanic names.

I've been going through the photos and discovered one is the photo of HMS Seal M37 sailing. I can't find a record of the Seal being involved with any specific u-boat.Comment
