I'm a new member so I apologize in advance for any lapses in protocol or procedure.
I've a 1939/40 German Automobile Club (DDAC) membership card for Kapitänleutnant Edgar Lanz. He was, among other assignments, Captain of Hitler's State Yacht, the Aviso Grille. He was Signals Officer on board the Scharnhorst when she was sunk and he was killed in the Battle of North Cape on 26 December 1943. Does anyone out there have any information from KM Rangliste or other sources that I can add to my biography of Lanz? Thanks in Advance and Happy Holidays.
