    Concentration Camp Photos - Rarity

I mean no offense by asking but I would assume this is the only place to get a honest opinion.

I have the chance to purchase a few original concentration camp photos. I admit I am not a big fan of getting them but we do need to remember history. My question is for you ....How rare are these ? ...I know it may sound foolish but I don't ever see these for sale so I wanted to ask you all . Thank you for your help.

Without seeing them, it's hard to say how rare they are. Depends on content, which camp, how clear they are, what timeframe (early war, late war, whatever) and whether or not they're original.

Some were extensively reprinted immediately after the war.

Thats like asking "How much is a 68 Firebird worth", lots of variables as mentioned. Probably even tougher, since we know there are no 68 Firebird fakes.

Assuming originality, and to take extremes, if they were of alleged prisoners mopping some unknown floor it would be practically worthless. If you had hapless souls being marched to execution under the whips and barking dogs of SS men, then it could be very valuable.
Any pics of some of the more notorious camps are potentially valuable, some camps no known pics exist at all.
So you may have a gold mine, a dung heap or anywhere in between.
