Take it easy my friend, now he will start showing us the Soldbuch, photos, his medals, his uniforms and them almost all of us mere mortals will end depressed and full of anger............... no seriously he is really lucky to have the chance of meeting vets and their families and forge a friendship with them.

Keep them coming and ddon't forget to show us also the TDB piece you mentioned also.

Well done my friend, but I suspect you will have some problems displaying the Isba model, it will take a lot of space, but a very nice touch to a group, it tell more than the telegram about how he was, not commonly seen such a display of loyalti to a superior.

NO Angel, you've now seen the best part of It. I got also some of its Awards themselves, including the german Cross which was unfortunately repaired on the back. They also had his Dagger, but it was promised to their best Friend. No SB or WP there.... it can not happen each time....

I also get the complete Group of his Fallen Brother, but well, nothing special in it...

Don't stop showing your stuff. Sometimes people don't comment out of envy.

Here is one Pic from the Staff of the 57th.I.D. in 1939. Nr. 1 : Oskar Blümm, Nr.2 : Major Hans Schmidt (IA), Nr.3 Major Liphart (IIA). Then, something that I add to the Group, an ISA Award Document to a Soldier of the 7./62 signed by Colonel Liphart.

You did it again, I am still looking for a Panzer Grenadier Regimet 128 group with the signature of Oberst Friedrich Stichtenoth as he was the commanding officer of that unit when he was awarded the KC.

Keep going my friends and thanks foryour efforts.

                            Hello my friend,

for me, a collector of documents of the 7. Inf.Div., it was really great, to see your representation of the Liphart-group. Thank You very much for this possibility.

In my own collection I have the group of the last commander of Gren.Rgt. 62, Oberst Hans Schmidt.

                            Best regards - Armin.

At this time, he still was with the 57.I.D., and not acting as a Bataillon-Commander. Lionel.
