    A drawing with interesting story

    Hello all,
I picked this up quite cheaply at an auction.
I believe it is original due to the age of the paper, it is definetly real drawing not a print and also the old frame. The sellers description was not that long however exept it was original drawing from the winter war. I always try to buy the item not the story and when there were no unbelievable story I bought it. I thought I would try contact the seller afterwards if he knew something about this piece. What I did not know was that there actually was a story attached to the drawing.

He told me this story: My father who was born in 1917 was and remained a Nazi. He belonged to the Swedish Finland volunteers. In qualification
with his Medicine candidate degree (he did not get any further) he served as a medic. One of them that he treated (without the authority to do a surgery for gunshot wound) was the artist. This drawing was originally a magazine illustration and is hanging at many Finnish walls as reproduction. However, this is the original that the artist gave my father as thanks for having successfully exceeded his authority. About the artist's further fate I know nothing, he was probably swedish because he served in this particular group.

I think i struck gold what do you think? Anyone recognize the artist or the motif that is drawn?
Also sorry for the poor photo quality with reflection, I did clean the glass since it was covered with dust and dirt so it must have been hidden in an attic or something.
