    Interesting photo from eBay

    Hello, guys.

What do you think about this photo? What is going on here? Is it awards of the one person on the ordenskissen or of two-three persons? Is it possible to identify this person? What about awards? I see such list:

    - EKII
    - EKI
    - RK & oaks
    - bulgarian order of the military merit
    - bulgarian pilot or observer badge
    - pilot
    - pilot observer badge
    - pilot observer with diamonds
    - two luftwaffe clasps
    - minesweeper badge
    - Narvik
    - Krim

    Rostyslav.

    Hello.

This is a post war photo (note the 1945 date on the Iron Cross and non Third Reich naval caps).

Because of the range of medals I would say it is a collection or representation of a crew of a ship or other unit.

    Nice photo.

    Chris.

      This is just my opinion,
This photograph appears to be of a postwar reburial held by the German Navy.
The Ordenskissen (Orders Pillow) This a traditional touch at German Military funerals whereby the person’s personal decorations and medals were displayed on a black pillow for all to see.
