The scan doesn't do much right, but the batteries of my camera went down.. Wanted to show this calling card. The FP number is from U-282, one of the many U-Boats that went down on their first trip, without achieving any sinkings and with all of their crewmembers.
The U-boat arm is more than succesfull commanders with Knight crosses and many sinkings, it's also the story of many young men who died in their iron tubes deep down the waves, without tasting the sweet feeling of succes. And off course, let's not forget the many dead on board the merchant ships.
Stege is also mentioned here:

Anybody else has examples of Kriegsmarine calling cards, or more on U-282?
Kind regards,
Maurice
