I was wondering where do this family hide this picture during the post war years.
Very nice and curious picture. Thank you for sharing my friend

Yes, a great snapshot, Gran! I've never before seen the style of dress the little girl is wearing, though it has the look of something 'official' to it -- perhaps a BDM sport outfit of some sort? Has anyone else seen one of these before?

              Do we Know?

Do we really know what the parents believed and who they voted for?

                Nice pic

Very nice photo of a TR era family. I wonder if little HJ Wiener snitched on Uncle Schultzie (to the far right) on his collection of jazz records.

Gran Sasso, is there any kind of date written on the back, or perhaps on an album page where this might have been found?

I just wondered if the boy was old enough to likely see military service prior to May 1945.

Yes, on the back of that foto is written: "1934 (the "4" is then writen over by a "3") in Behrmanns Garten".

On another foto (just showing the 2 kids) is written: "Hans und Marianne als Hitlerkinder 33"

Well, given that Hans looks to be 8 or 9 in this photo, it would make him 20 or 21 in 1945, so he almost certainly faced military conscription. One wonders if he survived.
