          Looks fine from the better picture.

          15-20€ tops and they could keep the medal without the suspension ring, you could match up a better one later?

          If it costs much more drop me a line and I will put you in touch with some-one that is reasonable as dealers go for run of the mill stuff.

                  That's a very good deal.

                  As no one has commented on it, Schwere Artillerie Abteilung 992 was only formed in late 1943. That may have casued concern to some considering the award date, but it's not too unusual to see ostmedaille awards well in to 1944 and especially to soldiers who had been transferred between units which accounts for how it could take longer for paperwork to catch up with them.
