One of these popped up in a thread earlier this week, so I thought I'd start a new thread for this series of postcards and see what people can contribute.
This is the series of Hoffmann postcards with serial numbers that start with 1923. They are for the annual memorial ceremonies on November 9th, the anniversary of the 1923 Putsch in Munich.
Although some cards are specifically dated 1935 (when the coffins were moved to the new temples near the Braun Haus), but I think the earliest numbered cards may be from as early as 1933, and the highest numbered cards may be as late as 1937.
As you can see there are a lot missing from my collection, so I'm hoping some of you can fill in the blanks- similar to the Thread on the Hoffmann Knight's Cross Winner postcards.
The number shown is the Hoffmann serial number. The first one doesn't have a slash/followed by a sub-number.
1923 [the one in my collection shows Hoffmann's Munich address on Amalienstr., so it might be even earlier than 1933]
