BTW, I am new on these period photographs and wondering how to distinguish originals. This picture, my first acquisition, has no writing on the back except pencil written number '474' and paper maker logo 'LEONAR'. I have heard this Leonar is a period German paper manufacuturer.

Is it safe to say at least the paper is authentic?
Any opinions appreciated.

Hello Ken, excellent shot!

It appears to be an early print on LEONAR paper, so nothing to worry. As long as the photograph is sharp and does not have too much contrast, you have a nice image there!

I remember only a couple of sniper photos in my archive, maybe I can find it for you later!

Akira, thank you for the awesome photos! The first picture, I wonder what they are all doing and why on the roof? Makes me curious what they are looking at.

Hi Ken,

As for the rifle, I have no idea, its not really my thing, but as its the only sniper photo I have, but I think its quite a cool one, I thought this was the place for it and try and rekick off the thread.
