    RKT Werner Ziegler portrait & signature

    Hello, guys.

    What do you think about originality of this portrait (wartime or postwar) & signature? Maybe someone have his signature for compare?

          As frankandfrank says, it's definitely a stamped signature, not handwritten.

            The photo is defenitely an original and the photo atelier stamp is absolutely correct as Photo Thome photographed Ziegler in all stages of his career. Here is a scan of one of the negatives from Photo Thome, which was a well established photo shop for almost 100 years in Schwetzingen. I also agree that the signature looks to be stamped which was often the case, but the photo is still excellent even if a bit water damaged.

                    and Ziegler alone without hat. There are also photos of Ziegler with swords but I don't want to overdo this but thanks for showing the back of the photo as I have many with this stamp (only of the Schwetzinger Panzer Kaserne however)
