I recently bought a negative, principally for my interest in the WD motorcycle and have now got a decent copy of the image.
I have a fair idea of the area where the British 2nd Infantry Division are likely to have abandoned vehicles but wonder if it is possible to obtain any further information from the Wehrmacht uniforms regarding type of unit etc. or indeed if any of the officers are known.

My suspicion from the street lighting is that this is Belgium rather than France.
