I am sorry for this picture being so low quality, but this is the best close up that I can get from my scanner. This flag is on a Waffen SS vehicle in Russia,. Does anyone have any idea what regiment this may be?

Hello:
Interesting fender flag, center looks maybe like slashed
arrows, or a slant number "11". Double arrows was the
emblem of 129th Infantry Division which served on the
Russian front's central sector in the summer of 1943, but
that would be an Army unit. Post #3a photo looks like
2nd SS Das Reich Panzer Division emblem painted on fender.

PS/ 2nd SS Panzer Division took part in several major battles on
the Russian Front, in particular the Battle of Prokhorovka and
against the Soviet 5th Guards Tank Army at Kursk. Units included
Totenkopfverbände SS Regiment 11 - thus maybe this fender flag?

SS Regiment al Flag

Thank you all, The flag certainly looks like one for an Infantry Regiment ( white center stripe) and Apparanty the 11th SS Infantry Regiment used that designation until November 1, 1941 and the regiment would have been in Russia in the summer of 1941.
I really don't know much at all about the 11th SS Infantry Regiment, can anyone provide me with more information? Thanks
