Some Big Stamp like Paper

Hi,
I believe these stamps were given out by the NSDAP to people who donated iron collected for the German war effort.
Different stamps were given for the weight of iron collected, and I believe these were saved until enough metal had been donated to qualify for some sort of certificate upon the surrender of these stamps saved.
Hope this helps,
Best regards,
John.

Do you think the donators gave their iron donation exactly in 5 kg, 1kg or 25 kg portions?
And what should they do with the stamp? Just wait for a certain quantity to receive a honour document?
I don't know exactly. But this system must have been wide spread over all Germany and so thousands of such stamps must have been delivered.
Does any one know other stamps like these ones?

Hi Gerdan,
I have stamps like these in green for 1kg, orange for 5kg, purple for 10kg and in grey for 25kg.
I also have a green 1kg stamp overprinted with a large capital "F" and "Bleche" for tin.
As I initially received these stamps with WHW items, I presumed that they were for donations to the war effort; to obtain some form of award certificate.
Coming full circle now, I wonder if they were metal ration stamps for say blacksmiths or metalworkers to hand in to obtain metal to meet orders from the general population?
Can anyone help with more information on these stamps?
best wishes,
John.
