Agreed, posed. Uniform is pimped out with TD strips, GCG, RK, cufftitle etc., basically anything they could think of, ridiculous IMO.

ALL of DreamLadys photos are fakes. I saw these photos for sale and they did not sell cheap either. I feel bad for all the people that this seller rips off. But theres nothing you can do to prevent people from buying em. Notice all of the photos this seller sells have that "gray tint" and NO contrast or detail to them at all? Note that all are SS, panzer, action, RK, etc?? Every single photo looks the same way, and not one is original pre45. Seller doesnt even bother to mix in any original photos to try and trick people either, but they still end up buying them
at least now u personally know to stay away now tho. Try to stick to one or 2 trustworthy sources that arent overpriced like most on ebay. I have watched this seller sell these for over a year now and get away with it. There are MANY like this on ebay too that continue to sell even after contacting ebay on them. I bought 2 fake photos (luckily only $5 total) from seller Adolffe a long time ago and I called him out on them after recieving them. He told me to keep the photos and he would give me a refund on top of it if I didnt leave negative feedback for him. Of course I sent the bribe message to Ebay after getting my refund. He is still selling to this day.
It is almost a good thing to buy some fakes so u know what to look for. of course It is pretty easy to spot them after buying hundreds of originals too.

shame. guess their ruse is the photos are usually not spectacular, big ticket shots but very believable run-of-the-mill shots

I wonder is there any way to get money back/file complaint if feedback has already been left? I've probably bought 50-75 bucks of photos from this seller

They had Rommel photos recently...reprints or real good look alike?

Also reenactors?! The cutting of the edges is the same. I will not be surprised if there is "Mimosa-Kiel" logo on the reverse...

The good thing about these fake photographs, and most reenactors in general: they NEVER get the poses right! They tend to stand around like a bunch of modern tourists, even german ww2 tourist photos have their own "wehrmacht feeling" to them.

It's not a crime for making fake periode reenacting pictures; in fact I think it is an art to get it as real as possible.

The thing that annoys me is that there always have to be people out there who make and sell these as authentic therefore messing with history and the enthusiasm of fellow and future collectors just to make a quick buck; what a world

Pretty obvious to collectors that have seen hundreds if not thousands of period WH photos that these are not "real" soldiers. The look just isn't there. I don't think I have seen any RKs worn that way in the field, very sloppy and loose around the neck. What really makes me concerned is the paper, from the front it looks period and if the subject matter and developing process was didffernt they would easily pass for authentic. Glad I have stopped collecting TR photos.

i've seen more. not also that i do not own these four photos, i found them after a quick internet search

                              1. note wood and brick built structure, similar to the second panzermann photo

                              2.

Looks like more FJ fakes have appeared, this time in an album:
                              http://www.ebay.de/itm/Dachbodenfund...#ht_849wt_1322

Same guys, same building in the background. Places the entire album into doubt.

it is a scandal that this seller sells these fakes as original! He has almost no cost and it is practically pure profit. The other amazing aspect is his 99.3% positive rating!!! It is important to bombard Ebay with reclamations on this seller but remember that Ebay also profits for every fake that is sold. Normally the seller just changes names and goes back on. We have some black sheep over here and one of my friends overheard a conversation where the seller immediately refunds money for reclamations but stated that "only a few items have to be accepted to realize a very high profit margin"!!! This is one reason why I stay away from Ebay and prefer to either see the items first hand or buy from a reputable dealer with return rights. Such black sheep ruin the hobby and it infuriates me to see this money stolen from inexperienced collectors.
