    KC winner documents value?

    Hi,

I can obtain the following documents of a Luftwaffe KC holder.

see pictures + also the guys wehrpass and flugbuch and about 40 authentic pictures. (i add a scan of two of the pictures)
Has anyone an idea on the value? What is a reasonable price for such a grouping?

    thank you very much

    Koen

Well, a similar set (but with less citations) to a fighter pilot was recently sold for £10,000 so take off the usual 25-35% dealers premium and you get a figure, although fighter pilots tend to be more sought after.

for those who are interested...here's a picture of the S&L KC belonging to the group...

I'm still looking for opinions on the paperwork.

            thanks

The best way to get an approx value is to check dealer sites and compare. Look at this one from Weitze which is a citation group to a RK & DKiG Trager which he has listed at 5,200 Euros...
              https://www.weitze.net/detail/33/Gro..._149433_e.html

Now bear in mind that the grouping shown on Weitze doesn't have the prelim RK citation which usually fetch upwards of 2,200 Euros on its own and it doesn't have the Wehrpass either, which again are usually listed for 1,800 Euros and upwards on its own. And again, the Weitze grouping doesn't have the flugbuch. So taking all that into account and taking off the rough figure of 25-35% dealers premium you still end up in the region of the figure I mentioned originally. It might not be the figure you were hoping for but unfortunately when it comes to good RK groups, they don't come cheap.

                Very nice paper's!

In a pity, the DKiG Document is missing.
