              Funny sense of humour.

I feel sorry for whoever bought the lot.

              Regards,
              Chris.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the high bidder was actually supposed to run the price up but not win. If so it back fired. It happens alot on ebay Germany and ebay USA. Notice the German seller has a feedback of 1, yet the high bidder has 66% of his bids with this seller. I've been an ebay bidder and seller ( LRSU31C ) since 2001 and have seen alot of this over the years. Somewhere in my files I have a spreadsheet with ebay seller names that I always avoided because of them running up bids or selling repro crap as original. If I can find the list I think I'll post it here to help the newer bidders so they don't get taken advantage of.
Now that ebay made it to where you can't see who is bidding on auctions, it makes it easier for sellers to create multiple ebay names and run up bids, or in the case of ebay Germany, have fellow sellers who are friends run up the bids.
You just have to be CAREFUL and only bid with sellers you trust. This applies for ebay USA as well. There's just as many bid run ups on there too and now it's a win win for ebay because the higher the bid, the more money ebay takes and the happier the stock holders get.

His own fault - if somebody has only money but not the knowledge to recognize those obvious fake fotos he deserves it.

I think you are right people are responsible for their own purchasing decisions. That doesn't get the seller off the hook though and I'd still feel sorry for the buyer, especially if for example they are a new collector.

I bought an item early on and wasted £80, my weeks wages.

                      Serves me right.

I'd love to have been born clever.

                      Regards,
                      Chris.
