Hi looks like GL Wilhelm von Altrock.

The picture was taken in Italy in 1944.In Genua "Platzkommandantur 1 Genua"
Maybe it helps a little in the identification?

Hi,

I can see he resemblance to Altrock, but the ears appear different to the ABR pic of him, plus Altrock was promoted to Generalleutnant on 1 Apr 1943, and this pic seems to show a Generalmajor.
