Heeres Übung (Panzer)

I wanted to share these two beautiful photographs of a Heeres übung. On the shared photographs there are some high Panzer officers to be seen while they are discussing the exercise. The photograph is taken in 1944: Generalmajor von Müller as Kdr. 16. Panzer-Division. Genlt. Frhr. v. Edelsheim as Kd.General der XXXXVIII. Panzer-Korps. Generaloberst Harpe as OB. der H.Gr.A and General der Pz.Truppen Gräser as OB. der Pz.AOK 4.

On the first photograph you'll see (from left to right):

Very interesting - if i'm correct pics are made in Poland.

I don't know where they are exactlty made. Here is another photograph of the exercise. In the background you'll see my favourite panzer: the Panzer V "Panther". On the foreground are booktype late-war soldiers.

Looks like one of last exercice in autumn 1944. 16 Panzer Division was at the time in south Poland, near Kielce (Vistula front).

In January 45 they had vary hard time.....
