Scariest Third Reich image??

If you have served in any army, then you will know the dreaded feeling of having your Spind (locker) inspected by an NCO or officer .... but how must these soldiers have felt when Adolf Hitler and Sepp Dietrich were about to inspect theirs .... ????

Whenever I look at this image, I can't help but feel sorry for these guys ...

We had an I.G. inspection one time and as the inspector was looking at our wallocker displays he asked my room mate if he had done anything special to prepare. He replied," No sir. We always have several pre-inspections before you guys get here."

The First Sergeant was fuming.

Isn't the soldier being inspected wearing a WW1 "Old fighters" winkel? If he's a WW1 vet, he may not be freaking out as much as you think. Gary
