Hello fellow historians,
For quite some time now I 've been trying to find any photographical evidence of danes from Regiment "Danmark" using the StG 43/44 in Russia. I know they had them at Oranienburg and Berlin (source: vets). And I also know that the received an unknown amount of the Sturmgewehr in 1944 (source: vets).
At one time I found a photo (on the internet) of a Danish Untersturmführer, or something like that, standing in a foxhole with a StG lying next to him. He was writing a message to a Kradmelder or radioman. But, I can't find it anymore.
So, I would be overjoyed if any of you had some scans of original photographs which I could see.
Take care
