I've just received a rather interesting Kriegsmarine photoalbum with pictures obviously taken somewhere in Norway. Based on the scenary of the landscape it looks like its taken in Troms/Finnmark county.
In the album theres one loose photograph - see attachment. This photo is stamped with the ordinary "Freigeben" and also fieldpostnumber M14235. Also of interest is the uboat-net in the background of the photograph.

Feldpoststempel 1939-1945: 14235 [Einkreis Rundstempel] 1.9.1939-1.1.1940 Trosschiff „Westerwald“. 15.9.1940-31.1.1941 Trosschiff „Nordmark“.
Verwendungszeit 1.9.1939 bis 21.5.1945 (FELDPOST II.WK)
As the pictures obivously are taken in Norway it seems that this album once belonged to someone who served on the Trosschiff "Nordmark".
I find it though rather strange that the "Nordmark" only had this particular fieldpostnumber until 31.1.1941. Does anyone has further information on this particular fieldpostnumber? Especially later than the use by Trosschiff "Nordmark" from 31.1.1941 onwards.
Any help on this M14235 number will be greatly appreiciated
