I am trying to unsucessfully researching a few different regiments as well as companies. Any suggested research sites or reference books that breaks it out for you. Most of what I have come up with is on a Division level. I am looking for some tools that break it down from in the case of Army; Army group 1, divsion , battalion ect.
In example I am tring to research a few Soldbuchs and the persons being researched were desiginated as being part of Infantry Regiment 933, 8th company.
I know that this was a replacement unit on the Eastern Front, but I cannot seem to take it any futhur. So, on a going forward basis I would like to add some concise reference material to library, any suggestions are most welcome.
