Name That Nazi

Some of you guys are a wee bit anal - "Name that Nazi" was just a catchy title, like "Name that Tune" [for those of us old enough to remember that 70's show].
I hardly thing a besmirching politcal statement was being made, wouldn't a title of "Does anyone happen to know who these Wehrmacht officers are" sound kind of goofy ?

It's funny how Tombak is only mensioning the Wehrmacht, when there were alot less war crimes in the Wehrmacht, LW, & KM all put together compared to the WAFFEN-SS!

So lets talk a little more history here.

How many KVK's were issued and to whom? Why were these awarded?

How many were awarded to the Whermacht?

Did the Luftwaffe have missions to fly to bomb civilians to support the Whermacht in their lightning advances?

Who followed up behind the combat troops to keep law, forceful law & then and round up those who resisted, those who did not wear uniforms?

How many KVK's were issued within the KZ system versus Whermacht?

Who wore them and the mix by branch of the Nazi forces?

Who supported the Einsatz troops and who was in the penal battalions?

Where did these fall in the order of battle?

So who wants to carry the ball from here?

I'll keep my opinion of the name of the thread to myself, but I do have to say it caught my eye.

Forgot one other thing, what was the name of the ship which opened WWII up with rounds on a peaceful city who was not at war with Germany?

This is a tough one for sure. Here on the east coast of canada we had a number of civilian ships torpedoed with hundreds of innocent lives lost, far from Europe. The KM was responsible for that.

Looks to be derived from the word "Nationalsozialismus" or National Socialism.
