As the title might suggest, I was able to acquire a grouping of a member of Infanterieregiment 132, part of the 44-Infanteriedivision. This division, formed from parts of the 6th Infanteriedivision and parts of the former Austrian Bundesheer, was almost completely anihalted at Stalingrad.
The soldier to whom this picture grouping - the remaints of an album - belonged, got lucky and recieved a so-called Heimatschüss. He was evacuated from Stalingrad on 21 November 42 and remained in military hospital in Passau until April 43.
Even though these are just remaints of what was once an album, now only loose pages with missing pictures, I couldn't keep from buying it, as the price was surprisingly low.
Best Regards,
Vincent S.
