seekarten - sea maps "oberkommando der kriegsmarine"

Hi, sorry for my bad english, but I am a new italian member of the forum with a question to which, on other militaria sites nobody could give any answer.
I have some sea charts of Oberkommando der Kriegmarine (Hight Command of German Navy), and for this passion I recently published a site named www.kartengruppe.it
Well, I have not understood how these charts are classified.
Let me explain: in the lower left of each map there is a rating such as "Klass III" "Klasse IV" "Klasse V" "Klasse 7" "Klasse 8" "Klasse 10" which seems independent of location or the scale of the map.

Any type of contribution is welcome.

Meanwhile, a gift to all members of the forum, I upload a picture of one of the special interest maps (it's my opinion) as relevant to the area used by the Allied troops landing in Normandy.

Nr. 266 Der Kanal - Nordkuste von Frankreich - CHERBOURG BIS FECAMP
    1:150.000, 1941, Klasse IV, 110 x 71 cm
Notes: Map with round stamp "Kriegsmarinewerft Kiel Kartengruppe" and linear stamp "KA41-36" on the front, and with the back printed with title and round stamp " Kriegsmarinewerft Kiel Kartengruppe "

    <a href="http://www.kartengruppe.it/immagini/okm/0266.jpg" target="_blank" title=""><img src="http://www.kartengruppe.it/immagini/okm/0266.jpg" border="0" alt="" width="600" height="400" /></a>
