    Nuremberg Trial Papers

How much might papers from the Nurembuerg trial be worth? For example, if I had (English) papers from the prosecutors who were trying Jodl in court? Is there a market for this?

I think most of these papers are still not given free and thus they're still mainly in archives etc.

      hi ,
here 2 "defence pleading " from the Nuremberg Trial from my collection :
One is from Prof.Dr.Exner according to Jodl ,July 1946 , 127 pages ; the next
is from Horst Pelckmann according the defense of the SS ,Berlin ,august 1946, 110 pages.
Until now, I got various opinions about them . It`s fact that the envelope of the jodl pleading was made post-war .
The 2 folder came to me including letters from Jodl of his prisoner time and also his signed final speech at the end of the tribunal .
If anybody is interested in more pictures, only tell me

Yeah, some are in archives, but many are out to private collectors. So how much are they worth? I'm assuming a lot (maybe even priceless for the information they hold).

                  Best regards

                    hi,
because of the value, it´s really difficult . I know for my lot for example, one collector would give me 300 euros , another in fact 1500 . At last, these things are impossible to compare like a iron cross for example

Yes this is true. I have a contact with the all the papers from a main US prosecutor from the Nuremberg Trials. The wife died and had boxes and boxes (now an entire upstairs vault with thousands, perhaps millions of files reside) of files that she gave to a research project.

I'll try to get some pictures. It has the folder for the documents of Ribbentropp, Doenitz, Goering, Jodl, Keitel, von Papen etc. etc.

Seen a bunch of these on the Antiques Roadshow ( english version ) a few years back with a son of one of the prosecutors if I remember correctly and who was a BBC commentator ( lord somebody ) and they're been kept in the family I think. Prehaps one of the english chappies can assist...

This is actually some of the same thing. One of the main English/American prosecutors of the trial died and his wife donated them all to a private museum/online database. This is the serious stuff though. Ribbentrop, Goering, Doenitz, Jodl, Keitel, etc.
