General question about SS membership cards

Was this type of membership card strictly for Allgemeine SS, or did Waffen SS soldiers end up with these too (or something similar)?

That is a nice membership card .. I don't know but I would assume that Waffen-SS only had their Wehrpass and that they would not have had membership cards, as they did not join an organisation as such, but entered into active military service when joining the Waffen-SS. Cheers, Torsten.

A Waffen SS soldier would not necessarily have an SS-ausweis unless they had been a member of the SS before the war started.
