    Hitler & Göring Signatures?

So how common was is for both Hitler and Göring to personally sign a promotion document for a Major?

Actually not that uncommon. These standard 1930s promo docs to people in various positions hand signed by AH, along with Göring or Blomberg, are probably the most commonly seen form of Hitler's signature. Of course, still, the majority of such promo documents were not signed by hand.

But it is a really nice set of documents.

It definitely is a nice set. They may not be the rarest, but they're still extremely collectable.

It's more common to find original signatures on promotions to Major than the on the next couple of ranks. It was a big step in terms of responsibility and seems to be reflected in the fact that these are the most commonly encountered 'really' signed promotions. Of course promotions to General rank were often signed but they are not so often found for sale (fewer of these exist of course).
