Hi Paul,

No, I don't think this is good.

First of all I think Adolf had other things on his mind on januari the 23rd 1945, than the anniversary of some SS-man.

Second, if the man was so special to him, I think the charter would have showed a lot of more class and style, not some black and white standard A4 paper.

Third: the name is typed not the German way.
On every official document the name is spelled like K E P P L I N G E R, that is: after each character a space.
Check it out on other documents.

So I think it has been made up.
And as noone ruins a very expensive charter with a poor typing attempt, I suggest the charter also ain't real.
But that is an assumption.

Do the math. Unless he received many double years for the "time of struggle," he would have had to have been a member since 1920.
