Looks very much like Helmuth Valtiner of the 6 Geb.Div.

Thanks for your answer, Simon. I've just made a search, trying to find more information, and came across some photos (and even Willrich portraits) which support your thoughts. This photo came within a lot belonging to a Fallschirmjäger...

Valtiner was photographed a lot and had a fair bit of media attention because his RK came before the Russian campaign and because he was only the second 'private' to be awarded the RK.
