Help with a translation of the back of a photo

It looks like another album torn apart for profit.

From what I can see, the captions says the following:

Panzerangriff am 8.10.41
Straße Petersburg = Iwanoff
Diese Panzer wurden von unseren 8.8cm
Flack [sic] abgeschossen, und brannten in
[??????] Flammen auf [several words illegible]
Panzer[??????] ab 30 Stück alle wurden [not-]
wendig und [not sure of next 3 words) weg Petersburg
zurück.

So in English, something like:
Tank battle on 8 October 1941
Petersburg-Ivanoff road
This tank was shot up by our 8.8cm flak and burned in [some sort of adjective goes here] flames...

The rest I cannot translate into English because too many words were illegible to me. Perhaps one of our native German speakers can help.
